Hardie Pipe supplied 11,150ft of Class III Hardie® Pipe to Southern Development Corporation for the $13m Winchester Ridge project being developed by DR Horton Inc in Jacksonville, Florida. Hardie® Pipe's 16ft lengths meant Southern Development Corporation crews handled 697 fewer pipes, had 697 fewer joints (compared to 8ft lengths of SRCP), and halved their pipe laying operations to finish ahead of schedule.

Another long-time Hardie® Pipe advocate is Byron Wuczynski, Project Engineer for Arcadis Inc. "I regularly specifiy Hardie® Pipe as an RCP in my projects. It meets the required standards, and it hasn't let me down" he said. The reinforced fiber cement characteristics and unique autoclaved chemical structure of Hardie® Pipe, meant it could withstand significant construction loads, perform well with FDOT and local municipal requirements, and was suitable for any potable water services and site development applications.
